I bought champions boerewors from the above store and I crack a tooth as a direct result of biting into the bone fragment. I kept the bone fragment and returned to Checkers to lodge a complaint and an injury claim. I was told that the butchery is run interdependently and that I should speak to the butchery manager. I gave him the fragments and he said that he would write a report and took my cell number and get back to me. He also admitted to not have the correct machinery that removed bone fragments. After a week of not hearing from them I went back to the store and he said that he wrote the report and forwarded to his head office and that they would contact me. After not hearing from I went into the store again where I insisted that he called the head office so I could speak to his manager. He said that his insurance department would be in contact with me. Again I waited forever. I told the manager that I could not afford to go to the dentist and that I expected them to send me on their account. they said that this was not their policy. After 5 months I borrowed money and had the tooth repaired. I sent in the invoice of R632 and they offered to pay 30%. I am not happy
