I received a phone call to say that my account was in arrears, totally untrue. I offered to send the POP to the relevant person to prove my point. The email bounced, so I phoned the person concerned, the number she gave me was incorrect. I phoned h.o and asked for her number, was told to speak to the lady who captures payments... her phone just rand and rang. I asked for her email, the receptionist didn't have it. I asked for the manager/supervisor, she does not take calls!!! So finally after this back and forth I get an explanation... this takes the cake!! Edgars has been a beneficiary on my bank for over a year, I have been paying them into the same account number for all that time and all of a sudden, my account number is wrong??? Edgars received my previous payments against that account number since July, overnight my account number is incorrect (so they say) and they don't receive the latest ones...?? Strange, the beneficiary details have not been changed at all, how does this happen? To get through to anyone just to listen to your story is another problem altogether... really, this is pathetic!
