Once a month since January 2013 I get a call from your branch in Parow, Cape Town from a gentleman named Winston looking for a man called Nigel Bampies who has left his contact number as my cell phone number.
Every month I inform him that firstly the man he looking for is not contactable on that number and secondly that I live in Johannesburg and am not interesting in specials running at a shop in Cape Town. And ask him to remove my name from his calling list.
So in September I contacted the customer service center about removing my number from this guy's contact and was promptly copied on an email from Francis Richards with Madelyn Heyns and never heard anything back.
The calls havent stopped in fact they have increased and I now receieve numrous sms messages, which I can apt out by smsing stop at my own cost.
This is becoming increasingly annoying and is bordering on harassment. How difficult is it to remove someone's number from the system??
