So a your'll can probably see the response posted by Edcon that the query has been escalated and someone will contact me, well I'm still waiting. A lady by the name of Dineo called me from the Edcon head office and sad someone from the Maponya mall Edgars would contact me within 48hrs. I must say this is appalling! If this is the way complaints are handled by Edcon then its no wonder their staff is so rude to us its because they no nothing will come from it! Never in a million years will one receive such service in the North but because its a store in Soweto we get treated like illiterate Imbeciles who don't know their rights. I really am disappointed. I'm a regular shopper at Edgars and have supported them for years and this is the thanks I get. This Dineo lady should have followed up to see if someone has contacted and assisted me but no! Why on earth would she waste her precious time doing that? She called me so now I must just shut up and walk away. Well I refuse to! After the way that women treated me, I still turn red in the face just by the thought. I really hope someone competent at Edcon will be of assistance!
