I have Edcon Appliance Insurance. I have contacted the numbers on the contract - only to be told that they no longer supply the service to Edgars. I looked on the edcon website and the number on there doesn't exist. I phoned customer services who gave me two cellphone numbers to contact the people who are now contracted to do the service. One was a lady that was retrenched about 6 months ago, and the other number was not working.
What I thought would be a simple phone call (which is what they promised when I signed up) - has now become an admin nightmare! I have paid hundreds of rands for this service - and now when I need to use it, I can't even get hold of anyone to help me.
