I bought eggs and the price on the shelve said R27.99 for 24 eggs and I get to the till I find that no it is actually R36.99. Cashier called supervisor who was no help as she did not know anything about the refund policy on this matter so she offered to call the manager but came a few minutes after that to say the manager was in the bathroom so we waited, she came back again and gave us the difference from R36.99 to R27.99. I asked her for the manager as we have been waiting there all this time for her and she simply said the manager was not there.
Is this how checkers is going to waste our time over their own mistake? and the fact that they even treated me like that was emberassing to say the least.
