I previously had an account with Edgars, closed it, always bought cash on my new married Surname: Beukes.
Went to open an account again with my new Id - Surname: Beukes (Driver's license still on Botha).
They just called up my old details and changed all info except my Surname which is on my ID (They kept the Surname on Botha)!!!
Now they want my marriage certificate to change my surname - I cannot get hold of it and feel it unnecessary to go to all the trouble to get it if my new ID is on Beukes!!!
They can stuff their new account unless they change my Surname to Beukes without me going around finding my marriage certificate!
Would love it if this can be sorted because everybody I talk to haven't got any authority...
