Following on from my first complaint in JULY - "Waiting forever for a repair" - Defy eventually made contact stating they couldn't source a replacement part for my fridge. They promised to replace the unit - Probably with another model as this 1 had been discontinued. Charles said that he needed the serial no. and would call me the next day. A few weeks passed and no call from defy so I called back. Charles took the serial no. and got the process rolling. We arranged delivery for Friday but Defy couldn't make it so we changed to Saturday. They were supposed to give us half an hour notice before delivery in order to clear out our fridge. The delivery guys arrived early Saturday morning unannounced much to our surprise! We cleared out our fridge quickly and the delivery guys made their way up the stairs of our complex. After the first set of stairs they alerted us to the fact that the replacement fridge was DAMAGED! This was 1 that they had just unpacked from a sealed box! We rejected the unit and now we start the process again on Monday. I'm pretty fed up with this and it has wasted enough of my time. I will never buy another defy product again and suggest you do the same!
