Pick 'n Pay
Overcharge via cashier - pick n pay canal walk
I was charged R250.17 on a pack of meat (marked price was R33.60). I thought this was a typo, so returned to store immediately and asked info desk to scan again. The barcode scanner "scanned" the correct price (R33.60). Manager reponse was that " it was a mistake". The only way this could have happened was that the cashier typed in the amount. The good news is that I was ultimately not charged for the pack of meat, but what concerns me is that I normally don't check the till slips, and assume honesty will prevail. Be careful and check your till slips.
