We went to furniture city and placed an order. The total amounted to R23000. When I was presented with the contract to sign I was charged R32000 in INTEREST ALONE! The rate is "apparently" 30% over 42 months. The lady tried to trick me into signing off on a Funeral policy as well which i refused. The total debt for R23000 of furniture would of been R55000 which is more than double. Then the cherry on the top was being charged 4 scotchgaurds when i only ordered 3 couches???
Explain to me how the that is even a possibility and how you guys calculate that?? Not to mention the RUDE credit manager that was on duty. I will be investigating this matter further and taking it up with consumer commission. A TOTAL WASTE OF 2 HOURS OF MY SATURDAY!!!
