I wanted to buy an item at @Homelivingspace to buy an item and i was told of the mandatory R400 delivery cost that i have to pay in addition to the item cost. I was told that this is because the store does not have stock at the premises and that R400 would have to cover the cost of getting the item from the warehouse. I refused to pay the amount as the travelling to warehouse has nothing to do with me and the amount was exorbitant as i stay not far from the store. The manager made a call to Area Manager who then asked me to go buy the item at Design Quarter as they have the item on stock and i will have to organise my own delivery. Needless to say i walked out. After been a consistent customer to this store i refuse to endure poor level of customer service.
