I bought at Liberty Mall an item for my daughter and had kept it at home without her having to wear it. The item still has a price tag and I still hold an invoice for the item. The item was bought at the end of August. My baby is only 17 months old and the item is suitable for age 18-24 months. I did not make my daughter wear this as I thought it was still big at the time and wanted her to wear it in December. As it happens with most baby's, my daughter has put on weight and will not fit into this item. I went back to the same shop where I had bought the item only to be told that it will not be accepted as it has pass the 30 day return period. I strongly believe that this policy has to be reviewed to be in line with other shops as most shops have a 90 day return policy. I requested contact details to complain and was given contact details for head office who advised that AM can override but the SM refused to give me contact details for the AM (another policy). I have been a loyal Truworths custormer for years and my account is well conducted... Obviously I'm not valued. Truworths only cares about their bottom line. Truworths!!!
