I closed my account with rage - i still shop at many branches around jhb, but i was no longer comfortable using credit, i apporached the branch in balfour park, the woman at the till rolled her eyes at me and sed: if u close this account, u cant open it again>!! lol r u kiddig me! i say ok, she calls head office, the teller and her frnd/colleague begin to insult the lady from head office -who they spoke to over the phone, calling her names, in front of me as a customer-
after we suppousedly close the account, they are unable to even present a slip trhat is closed- she rolled her eyes at me again because i asked how do i maker certain the account is close- AS AN EDUCATED CUSTOMER, I HAVE TO ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE I CAN WALK AWAY. she then refused to give me my card back, as if i was a rage till system at home- which i will use to commit shoe with?! she kept my card!!
I KNOW FOR A FACT ME KEEOING AN INVALID AND CLOSED ACCOUNT CARD IS NO PROBLEM, SHE WANTS TO DO WITH MY CARD AND I HAVE GOTTEN NO LETTER OR EMAIL TO CONFIRM THAT THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED. ANY PURCHASES MADE ON THAT CARD ARE NOT LIABL TO BE PAID BY ME!
THE ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF IN BALFOUR IS DISGUSTING!
