I purchased a black pants on 28 th September 2013, wore it once and after one wash the domestic found the inner stitching was out. I took it to the Sandton branch and they refused to change it as they noticed that there was a burn stain at the top of the pants. My point to them was that the pants would not have been brought back if the seam didn't tear, I would like people to know that Foschini are taking clothes that people have worn, fixing them and putting them back on the rail for sale. There is no other reason for their refusal to change the pants. The store supervisor even called the manager Daniel Mokate and he refused to allow them to exchange the pants. This is not the first item that I have bought from Foschini where the sewing has come loose. Their quality is terrible, Woolworths stands by their standard of quality as they will always exchange defect items.
