Some months ago - back in July - I stopped by Kenilworth Centre hunting for some lovely notebooks CNA had begun stocking. They came in both an A5 and A6 size and were extremely reasonably priced and so I did my utmost to track them down.
However, I discovered just one or two on the shelf - and none of the smaller A6 size that I so badly wanted. Before I could even formulate my next thought, this lady marched right up to me and asked me what I was looking for. We returned to the shelf only to confirm: no new stock. Naturally, I was crestfallen.
However, what followed was the most proactive, generous and determined service I have received all year, from - of all people - the security guard!
Unprompted, LINDIWE got down on her hands and knees, reached as deep beneath the bottom shelf as her little arms would take her and proceeded to scoop out notebook after notebook - all the ones that must have, over time, slipped down behind the shelves. In the end, I walked out with almost ten notebooks and was thrilled!
How it is possible, then, that someone with a work ethic and passion like LINDIWE - who wants nothing more in life than to work for CNA - cannot get hired is unbelievable!
