I was doing a quick shop at Checkers and knew I was running low on nappies, but even though Checkers had Huggies on special, I decided to wait till the next day to get my preferred PnP brand nappies at Pick n Pay, which are also cheaper. So I especially went to Pick n Pay Claremont to get that ONE item, only to find it is out of stock. Needed a size 4 but would have been happy to take a size 5, but they only had a size 3 on the shelf. Now desperately needing something, I look at the Huggies. There is nothing in any of the sizes I need on the shelf. Eventually I spot a trolley of unpacked things blocking half the aisle, and after rummaging through that I found a Huggies pack in the size I need. Not really what I wanted, and for more than I would have paid at Checkers, but I had no option as I needed it. I also got attitude from the aisle employee. I just don't understand how a retailer like Pick n Pay can't get their stock management right! Shopping there is such a waste of time when half my essentials are out of stock and I have to pay more for an alternative or go elsewhere. Get it right already Pick n Pay! I don't care about points, just getting what I need!
