I bought a dress at Sandton City Truworths for my sister in-law who stays in Queenstown. The dress did not fit her well and she returned it to Truworths on the 30/09/2013. In the process of fitting the dress, the price tag was removed from the dress, but it was still there. When she took it back (Acting Store Manager) was rude to her and said they would not take it back as the dress does not have the tag, she requested the manager who showed no compassion but treated her worse by saying she probably wore the dress. The matter was forwarded to the Regional Manager who was of no help but worse than the other 2.
This was very disappointing and disgusting as they were looking down on her and treated her as if she the dress.
We have accounts with Truworths, but if this is how they treat their customers then we might as well close them, this is the new South Africa and no one should be treated less
These people need help and that store needs some serious intervention.
