When I went inside the store I didn't even remember I had a packet of biscuits in my bag. I went inside the store and purchased what I wanted. After producing a slip at the door I was asked to open my bag, which I did. All of a sudden I'm told what I have is over items on till slip. When I tried explaining that I went inside the store with a box of biscuits I was forced to pay for the biscuits. I refused to pay and a so called supervisor wouldn't even listen to me, he just accused me of. I mean come on I can buy my own biscuits! I have never been so humiliated in my life. My time was wasted over something I didn't even do. When I asked them to go through their cameras and check If I even went near the biscuit aisle I was told the camera operator wasn't there.
How can you go around accusing people of, do you know that is an offense? I keep a lot of stuff in my handbag and never did it cross my mind that I would be accused of such a criminal act and worse without any proof. To top it all they treated me like I wasn't even a paying customer, especially the security guard.
I'm disappointed with Pick n Pay
