Yesterday (8 August) at approx. 12:45, part of my purchases at said store wer 2 packets of biscuits. I noticed the price was R9.99 each. Not understanding why all the boxes had been turned to face the back of the shelf, I turned two boxes around. All seemed in order, so I took two boxes. At the casher (Nthabisang Masenya) the price suddenly increased to R15.99 each). The supervisor was called, who in turn called the packer. The packer explained that the biscuits were intended for the shelf above, but because there was no space on the shelf above, she simply packed them on the shelf below. She then turned them all around to face the back of the shelf and held thumbs that customers would not notice them!!! This is what we call Pick & Pay??? I was hurriedly handed two other boxes of biscuits costing R9.99 each (not my choice of biscuits). I paid for them and left the store. Store managers around??? What store manager???
