There is a sale for the Sunlight 3KG washing powder, which is R39, 99 and I am sure that all the Shoprite stores are given a very large number of this product. I then went to the Shoprite in Pimville Square at around 9am and the rude manager told me it was out of stock. I then asked him how can it be out of stock when it is advertised in their catalogues, he then said their supplier did not deliver on time. I went back again this morning and got the very same story from another employee in that store. One the employees came and took one pack out for me under the shelf in one of the isle. What I would like to know is Shoprite only doing the sale for its employees or its customers? One old lady told me that they have a tendency of hiding things that are on sale up until the last day.
