I went to Game Stores Cnr Market & Joubert Johannesburg to purchased the 9ct studs earings advertised as R80.00 on the store's catalogue. To my horror when I went to pay for them, they were selling at R130.00. I asked to speak to the floor supervisor who was not helpful, she took the slip from me saying that she is going to change the price but I was embarrased by her and the manager's conduct. I insisited on get a copy of the receipt for R130.00 she took her time in providing me with the receipt. I have spent my entire lunch hour at the store to be so humiliated and not assisted. I reminded the floor supervisor of the consumer protection act of which she didnt know. I am very horrified of the treatment that I got from the store. Why should they entice customers with prices that they advertised which is misleading. It is so unfair that such a big retail store cannot treat its customers like that.
