Today Me my wife and my 4 year old son went to game to buy him a new pool (The Intex pool that is on special for R698) Once there we walked around a bit and saw a few other items that we need for our home.
The total sale came to R1828.60.
The Compost was advertised for R19.00 and the pool cover is advertised for R85.99.
Anybody with a 4 year old child can agree that it is impossible to check all the prices at the till so when we got home and everything was a bit calmer i went through the slip and saw that we were charged R 20.00 for the compost and R 99.99 for the pool cover.
Thus giving you R19 that I was overcharged.
The R19 I was overcharged is not the problem its the principle behind it.
I work at a retail store as well and something like that would never happen at our store.
Even before the shelf talker gets changed the system gets updated with the special prices.
As a retail store you rely on the customers to keep the doors open but this is blatantly from the customers by not doing their jobs correctly.
