I have a few accounts with Ellerines, i bought my furniture, cellphones and recently a laptop there. I lost my laptop on the 09.09.2013 and went to complete claim form at the Sebokeng (Thabong) branch on Saturday 14.09.2013. i called headoffice to check if the forms were received and they were not. Headoffice promised to call the branch for the forms which they, thank you. So again, i call the headoffice to check if the forms were received and they just advised that my laptop is not insured.?! How can my fridge, plasma and cellphones all be insured and not the laptop? even with these things i wasnt asked if i wanted insurance or not, it was just loaded. So how come its not loaded for my laptop which is more riskier because i carry it everywhere. the branch that i had since bought the laptop from is closed. I need to speak to someone very superior at Ellerines because i've been very loyal and just when i need help i get service? i need my laptop replaced, if not, i need to why i wasnt given the option of insurance? With my other items they loaded it without asking, they could have just done the same. I'm really off because this sounds like just an excuse to me!!!
