I bought a set of frying pans. The first use of these pans all of the 'non-stick' stuff came off the bottom of my pan and into the food I was cooking. The food was ruined.
I took the frying pans back and was offered a refund. I purchase a lot in Mr Price and am generally happy with things, this time however I was really cross that such poor quality ruined my meal and my evening, how can they sell frying pans which will do that on the first use. I suggested that actually my money back was not good enough this time and I would like something further given my meal was ruined and that it was not at all acceptable to be selling such inferior products. The manager laughed at me.
This has happened to me once at Pick and Pay where I have bought a product that was of poor quality. They replaced the product and gave me my money back, but more than this, their attitude was much more professional. They were very apologetic and understanding. For this reason I remain a loyal client of Pick and Pay.
I do not understand why the Manager thought my request was so laughable, Mr Price are fortunate that I didn't eat the non-stick peelings that ruined my food and get sick.
