I had the unfortunate thing of "identity " happen to me in May. Someone purchased good from HomeChoice on my name while I have never even heard of them.
After NUMEROUS phone calls, afidavits, emails and statements I am still receiving demanding letters to settle my account. When calling the call centre I am told this or that excuse but they do "see" my previous complaints on the system. Well they should since I have reference numbers for all of them.
They confirmed that the afidavit was received and the investigation is under way/completed, yet I keep getting accounts!!!
Today I received a letter of "Final Demand" and was threatened that I would be handed over to the credit burea. Looking at other complaints it seems like HomeChoice is in the business of handing people over and smearing their names black at credit bureas and then DOING NOTHING to rectify their incompetence.
I have recently bought a house and do not want this kind of thing to damage my reputation as a good "credit client".
Whilst I ran out of patience looong ago with their incompetence, I am now running out of time and running the risk of being blacklisted UNFAIRLY!!!
