Today during my lunch i went to Shoprite in Bellville, Voortrekker to go and exchange an faulty kettle, note i bought it here. It was tested and after some time( - 20 min) they came back with the kettle saying its dead. They did not have stock of this kettle and no other stock as well. I was advised to go to the one in Middestad Mall. I then went to the other branch got to the koisk to be confronted by the front end supervisor with a heap of attitude. Firstly my presence was not acknowledge by any of the cashiers or the controller. Finally when i got assistance it reeked of attitude. I was told they do not have any stock and must go back to the store i bought it from. After we had a few words and when i mentioned i was going to complain on Hello Peter. I was told to go and check and she (Kululwa) will find out from the manager. Note i only had 10min left of my lunch. I went to look and there was nothing. Since when does Shoprite have the rule that you need to go and exchange the item from the store you bought it from? I did not see this in the terms and conditions and it also does not state it on the receipts or on the doors of the shops. Please address this ASAP!!!
