On 2/ 9/13 I went to Clicks Graanendal to buy 'Like Silk' products which were advertised in the Clicks Beauty Fair brochure as being on special - less 25%. The products were the normal price which I always pay but there was a big sign on the shelf saying less 25%. I did not check my till slip till I got home and then saw that I had been charged full price. I phoned the customer care number at Clicks head offce 086254257. Spoke to Laeequah, who had quite an attitude on her. She had a 100 stories to tell but promised to escalate the complaint to management and I would get a phone call within 48 hours. It is now 6 days later and no phonecall. No contact at all, she simply did nothing. Two complaints here, one is that in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, a shop cannot use false and misleading advertising to get feet into their store and then cheat to move their stock. They never intended giving 25% discount. She said that the discount was already taken off, .Not true R49- is the normal price which I always pay for these products and the second complaint is that she when she said that someone would contact me within 48 hours. 6 days later and not a word from anyone.
