The price of men's EDT English Blazer was advertised for R179. This price was displayed on the shelf as the special sale price as well as on the Clicks promo ad. I confirmed this with a Clicks staff member. When I got to the till I was charged R220. Luckily I checked my till slip before I left the store, noticing the incorrect price. Clicks then corrected the price.
I nearly got ripped off and this is unacceptable. Pick n Pay has a policy that if you get charged a higher price than the price advertised, then the customer gets the item free. This forces them to take responsibility to ensure accurate pricing.
Clicks is just prepared to rip off their customers without taking any responsibility. That is shameful.
