On the 3 of September my girlfriend and I went to the new Redruth Pick N Pay as we do every night because we work and stay close by. We finished our shopping and made our way to the cigarette counter because it was 6 pm and there was only a handful off tills open with the store being packed with customers, Where we met Fridah. I work in retail and understand how customer service works but I have never in my life met someone so rude and unwilling to help customers then this women. The impression she gave us was we will wait until shes ready to help us as we were ignored while she was chatting with a another cashier. When she finally turned to us she didn't greet us and when i asked her what her problem was she replied "emapele" what means as far as i know "I must wait" This is pathetic service and if this pick n pay cant appoint staff with manners they should go to Checkers for training. i will not be leaving this here.
