WOOLWORTHS UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS ETHICS

At the beginning of 2013 I received an account from woolworths for R36 odd rand. I found this very odd as my account has been inactive for over a year. I queried this at a branch and was told that the amount was owing for insurance against lost or card! I firstly never authorised any such insurance and never received any documents regarding insurance! I immediately paid the amount and told woolworths to cancel the insurance! By chance today, 4 september, I discovered while trying to apply for a ipad through fnb that I was unable to as my Consumer Credit Report through Transunion showed that I had "credit misconduct" listed on my credit rating! This was reported by Woolworths for the R36 that was owing to them! Im totally disgusted by the way in which a company such as Woolworths conduct business! I spend thousands of rands per year at woolworths and they have the audacity to report me for R36 which was not even for puchases that I made! They spend thousands of rands taking their secretaries to the Mount Nelson for secretaries day, but will be very quick to hand you over for R36.I will make a point of telling everyone I talk to about Woolworths unacceptable business ethics!
