My niece was informed by Edgar's (Jeff Division) that there were purchases made on her card on the 6 & 7 July at the Waterfront in Cape Town. She informed them that she did not make any purchases. She realized her card was and reported it to SAPS. Edgars is now refuting her claim that the card was used because of the following:
1) Please be advised that by your own admission you stated that this lady who purchases on your account came to your house with your brother, meaning that this person was known to you.
2) You also stated that she your card from your room.
3) You also stated that you viewed the footage at our stores and opened up a criminal case against her.
4) You also informed me that you knew where this this person reside and will be pursuing a criminal case.
She produced an affidavit under oath that the person was unknown to her but a friend of her brother. She made a statement at SAPS indicating that she did not know the person. How can Edgars refute the claim based on the fact that she laid a criminal charge what was she suppose to do. Her brother knows were the person lives, that is how she got the address. What up with that Edgars.
