I am a regular customer often spending R3000 per trip & was given a 2 night accom voucher for being a valuable customer. Conveniently the voucher indemnifies Pick 'n Pay and Leisure Lifestyles fron non-performance or negligence! I contacted Leisure Group and was told to select a venue - we selected Phokoje Bush Lodge in North West, which advertises itself as an upmarket, luxury venue yet the jacuzzi was empty, our reception was terrible with staff screaming about overbookings & 'head office' misleading clients. The accommodation is basic NOT silver star as claimed. Worst still each couple there had been and we were all upset. Each had paid various amounts per couple ranging from R1000 to R1700 for the 'meals'. I called the office prior & they assured me this amount was for meals only, accomodation was our prize BUT the lady who is a part owner of the lodge confirmed that they took 50% for their costs and only gave 50% to caterers for food. Hence on Friday we got pap & wors which ran out & a basic breakfast on Sat which ran out so I paid over R 1000 yet I got no food but a piece of toast on my wedding anniversay & Im pregnant! The game was few & sick-looking. It was awful
