Misleading customers

I went to pick n pay hyper in brackenfell and bought a washing machine, i was told that their is one in the stock room and i informed the agent /staff member marius that i would rather send my driver the next morning to collect the item. He promised that it will be ready when i have someone collect it i should just send my driver with the pink paid slip. The item was paid for on the 22nd of August 2013 and my driver was sent before 12 on the 23rd August to collect, when my driver got there he was told that they were out of stock. I live in bluedowns and drove all the way as that was what i wanted and i send out a driver who was told to just come back, petrol isnt water and time is money so i dont understand as to why i was so inconvenienced when i was promised that there was stock. Id like to know how you will be treating your customers in future. I have my washing machine but i had to go back to the store to collect it myself the 24th August.i REALLY not happy.
