My fiance approach GF Bridal Couture in Fourways to purchase her wedding dress, for the final fitting one week prior to the wedding they had made a mistake with the alterations and ended up making the fit about a size too small.
Mistakes happen, this was not a problem - my fiance and her mother were told the dress would be fixed in an hour, tops.
After an hour had passed, my fiance approached the employees responsible and wanted to know what was happening. "20 Minutes more" they said. Fine, my fiance waited another 20 minutes - the time passed and again the employee was approached and the same excuse was given, another 20 minutes. This occurred over and over, wasting a total of 4 hours of my fiance and her mother's time.
It as TOTALLY unacceptable. The alterations that they had to make DUE TO THEIR OWN MISTAKES, have left the stitching of the dress in a less-than presentable state. It is absolutely RIDICULOUS. No compensation of ANY KIND was even OFFERED by the staff.
