Incorrect turn around time given

I went to buy a ring for my wedding, I bought the on 2013, 08, 12 I and it went for resizing I was advice that it will be back on 2013, 08, 19,
I was never called instead I went to check with them.
Now the store manager told me me that I will get the ring on Thursday, whereas I want to use it on Friday.
I cannot gamble with that.
I went to get my cash back they gave it to me with no apology.
Now I must shop around again

I called to log a complaint however I was not give a reference for the complaint.
