On 3rd August 2013 I went to Cardies to fill 20 balloons with Helium for my birthday party later that night. When I went to fetch them the store was closed before 7pm with my balloons locked inside. All 3 ladies at the store were well aware that I was coming back for the balloons as my party was at 8pm that night. Immediately called security who tried to contact the manager. She refused to answer her phone and I was delayed for my party, reaching there an hour late. Tried to call the store from the next day and the number was not working. This number was given to us by Pavilion themselves. Subsequently tried to call the store and head office numerous times only to be told the call will be returned. Over a week after the incident the regional manager finally called us back and informed us the number of the store had been changed. She is refunding my money but refuses to acknowledge that my emotional trauma and inconvienience should be compensated for. Extremely dissapointed in Cardies for ruining my birthday party and then not being available or interested in rectifying their mistakes.
