On the 5th of April 2013 I bought a Mellerware Frying pan for R399, with the guarantee of two years. On the 30th of June 2013 it stopped working. When I took it back Nicholas and an Old woman whom I didn't get the name who are managing the store came to inspect the Frying pan and ridiculed me for saying that on the box of the Frying Pan talks about 25 years of providing quality products yet this one died under four months after being bought. They joked that I thought the Guarantee was 25 years, and they said they have never had of 25 years Guarantee. I said even so, your Guarantee is two years, and the Pan died within 4 months of being bought. Nicholas sent me back saying I should come back some other time when I have brought back the power plug so that they can test it. I asked what next step would be, if they found it didn't work, he said he would speak to his boss and see what he says. Nicholas and this Old woman showed little disregard with the fact that they sold me a product that doesn't work anymore and focused more on ridiculing me about the 25 years Guarantee or Quality point I made. This is totally unacceptable! I have been a customer in that store since 2006.
