EXPLOITING THE CONSUMER

I have lived in fourways for many years and frequent Fourways Mall when shopping for its convenience.

I also prefer a particular style of shoe I use for work that Markham has had stock of for years. It's a Signal Slip on shoe which I purchase regularly. For a while the Fourways Mall branch has not had my size, in fact on three separate occasions over a 3 month period I have been there and they have had only one size which I would find strange as it is clearly a popular brand. I eventually ended up at their Alberton branch on Friday 09th which surprisingly also didn't have stock. I waited 45min and had to eventually leave as they could not figure out how to check if the Fourways Branch had stock yet.

The next day I went to the Fourways Branch and was not too surprised to find that there was once again only one size in the store. I then was told that the only way to get my size was to pay an extra amount of R30 for a delivery fee??? Well I did and was promised that the would call me on Sunday which didn't happen.
This also got me thinking as I have had a shoe size problem on many occasions with them on different shoes. It is inevitable to conclude consumer abuse!!!
