On 26 July I bought a lounge suite and paid a cash amount of R15999-99. I requested that they deliver on the 2nd of August, since my old lounge suite would be collected on the 2nd. On Friday morning (2nd) I called the store to request delivery the next day (3rd). The lady in the office told me that they do not have any in stock but will receive on Monday (5th) and could deliver on Tuesday (6th). Tuesday came but still no stock. I took 2 hours from work to look for another lounge suite. When I got back at my office, they called me, promised I would get my suite the following day which once again did not happen. They then promised me again that the stock will be delivered at their warehouse on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, still nothing. I had visitors for the long weekend and I had to let them sit on camping chairs which was very embarrassing for me. Today is 12th August and no word. I demanded my money back but now they need proof that it is my bank account. They did not ask me if it was my bank account where the money came from I paid them with in the first place. NEVER ever again will I buy from Beares anywhere. I suggest they check first if they have enough stock before selling
