I went into Woolworths Riverside in Vanderbijlpark this morning (26/07/2013). On the chips shelf is a promotion signage which indicates "Selected crisps, buy 2 for R20".
I took the Balsamic vinegar and sweet onion and the Sour cream and black pepper.
At the till, they scanned it for R12.95 each. I asked the lady about it, and she called Mathapelo (7041999) and she said with an attitude that it is excluding the Sour cream and black pepper. I asked where is it indicated that this specific flavour is excluded and the attitude I got from Mathapelo is unacceptable! She said to me it clearly states that it is "selected crisps" only. When I said to her I want this 2 for R20 or the sign where it is indicated, she said to me this is the way it is and that flavour is not included. I asked for her name and told her I will take this up with Head Office, she said to me "FINE! " Just before I left the store, I realised that she did not return my original slip, I went back to her and asked her about my slip, and again with attitude she said to me " I don't know where your slip is"... This attitude is unacceptable! Staff like Mathapelo maybe needs some training in Customer Service.
