On Thursday, my boyfriend and I went to look at Cape Union's sale and I found shoes I really liked. I asked for a size 6 and the man working in the shoe department said they did not have a size 6 but Constantia Village had 8 pairs in those exact shoes in my size 6. I was very surprised to hear this and asked the same person (his name was something like Sandiso, not 100% sure) what time Constantia is open until. As it was almost 6pm, he told me they were already closed but opened at 8am the next morning. I double checked this with him as I really wanted the shoes and he confirmed they had 8 pairs of size 6 left and they open at 8am the next day. However, I did not see him check this on any system. The next day I changed my morning meeting to 9:15am in order to get the shoes but upon arrival at 8:15am, I saw they only opened at 9am. Then when I asked them, they told me they had NO size 6's left. I was in turn late for my meeting all because some know-it-all to me. I don't appreciate this kind of service and feel something should be done.
