I am highly annoyed with Makro. On their advertising of their Birthday sale specials, they advertise a DSTV PVR decoder for R1, 699 that states: HD PVR Decoder plus Installation Voucher. I have bought their normal small decoders with installation voucher about 5 times in the past, no problem, and I assumed this was the same, meaning, you buy the decoder, you get the dish and installation as part of the special.
9 August, I go to buy this special. I was told, no, the installation is no installation, it is an upgrade. I was gobsmacked. They say the advert states, dish and twin LNB excluded. I said no way, can't be. I checked, and yes, can you believe it, in serious small print it does state that.
But, I asked the person, what is an upgrade. He says, that is for people who have a normal smal decoder plus dish already, and it basically is only to upgrade that to a twin LNB extra cable. I said, but add says twin LNB not included, why is it included there. He can't realy answer, just saying this is incredible deal. Nonsense, deal.
Later in the store guy doing announcement says Gold Voucher included. This is the same, just an upgrade. Real stinker Makro, you got me.
