I had a break-in on Wednesday last week and had to get all the proof for items on my claims list. I had everything but forgot that the slips and proof for my wifes laptop was in the bag that was to. I tried everything in looking for any form of proof for this and could not find a copy (hard or electronic) anywhere. FNB could not track the payment was it was done in 2010 and I could not remember the date... but after a long search I managed to find the date and proof of spending money for something at a Hi Fi Corp that had since closed down. I phoned the Clearwater Branch and begged them for help! They informed me that it will be difficult since the branch has closed but they can submit the information to Head Office which they did the same day (Devan). Then for 3 days I was getting updates on different searches they were trying to find this payment and finally yesterday I received proof of purchase (Keran) for the laptop which I could submit to the Insurance! Thank you very much team at Hi Fi Corporation I truly appreciate the assistance!
