I had an airtime top up contract through Edgars which i cancelled more than 2 years ago for the second time after my first request was ignored and i continued to be billed. At the time of cancellation i requested that my sim card be converted back to a prepaid sim. At the time i thought that it was done.
2 weeks ago i received a loan blackberry through work and when i inserted my sim i discovered that it was still registered as a contract sim. I called customer service on 24/07, they advised that it would be converted back by 30/07.
2 weeks later my sim still hasnt been converted, When i followed up yesterday they told me that my request to cancel why contract was submitted. That is not what i had requested since the contract had been cancelled years ago. I called back again today and was told that the request to convert my sim was submitted yesterday. i was told a week and a half ago that it was submitted and why understand why it was being submitted again. I feel that it is going in circles and that i need to keep calling to get a status. Time which i dont have, usually great customer service is when a complaint is resolved without harrassment from the custome
