It felt like I was pulling teeth when I asked if the cashier could check if there was one more curtain on their system since they couldn't locate it at the "back" or on the shelves. She shook her head and wearily sighed, saying that wasn't possible, even though their were several open tills and a staff member had done it previously within 2 minutes. When I pointed this out, she gave me a blank stare and a general "I want to go home now, I hate my life" vibe. She added that it was pointless, because there just wasn't any more stock left anyway. Eventually her colleague picked up that we were becoming frustrated and scanned the system only to find that there were 18 curtains still in stock that they just couldn't find. The whole experience was unpleasant, not to mention bizarre - it felt like we were coaxing a child to do her homework. I don't know her name, and I only thought to post this after going back to return something and receiving almost as horrible service. Never going back there.
