I purchased item code 90180120514 - Curtains on the 23 November to see if they would work in our new build entertainment area. They worked perfectly and I when back to @ Home Greenacres to purchase another 2 packs as well as a standard length pack - item code 90190113128 for R869. The past weekend we hanged all the curtains and decided we needed another standard length pack. I went along to the @ Home Greenacres store and when the cashier told me the total due was R869. In only 2 short weeks @ Home saw it fit to increase the price with 15 % - just because it's Christmas. I spoke to manager that assure me it was new stock and the reason for the price increase. One of the staff member then confirmed that it was in fact NOT new stock, but the same stock a purchased two weeks ago and it was merely head office increases prices over the festive season. I was TOTALLY shock and if I didn't hang the other curtains over the weekend I would have most certainly returned each and every one. I have just spend R4565 on curtains at @ Home and clearly that was not enough for this greedy store that insist increasing prices over the festive season with 15 %. NOT A HAPPY @ HOME now EX CUSTOMER
