Disgruntled custome

I bought a universal charger at Cash Crusaders and 2days later it stopped charging. I now went back to Cash Crusaders and reported this, to which the response was, " We have run out of chargers, come back tomorrow we'll order another one for you." I then made it very clear that I cant wait that long. So I was told I would be given a spare charger to use so long and then get the Universal charger the next day. An hour later I was still standing in the shop, the assistant busy trying out all the chargers and none of them worked for my laptop. Eventually she said sorry and left.

I then went and bought another charger and went back to Cash Crusaders and told them I want a refund. The manager was called in to tell me they dont give refunds, I must take something else in the shop. I told him the receipt mentions credits if the customer is unaware of the defect at the time of purchase, he said, they would send for testing, if the factory okays it I'll get my money or wait 7 to 14 days for a report. Its been 8days now. Not once day has the manager called to brief me on what's going on and give me a report from the factory, yet I left my number. I now have to go back and request feedback.
