My mum phone was then I contacted mtn who took round about 5 days to supply us with an itc number, then I went to the police station got my details and submitted my claim at jabulani mall, I asked when can I receive my new phone the lady told me I should come back again the following week on Friday. then I called edcon the following day to find out the claim has been captured and its status, and it has was not processed. at jabulani they say it takes 7 days for a claim to be sent and edcon call center says they should receive a claim within 48 hours after it has been sent. I don't know who is at fault edcon or hollard but when a person takes insurance cover the adviser always says u would get a new phone within 48 hours, my mums phone got on the 24 today is the 31 of july and we still haven't gotten a phone as yet and now edgars says we have to wait for another week and so that we can have a new phone. this is totally not on and of a big inconvenience to us and totally unacceptable at all. we take insurances thinking we will get quick service yet we must wait to receive service.
