Very unhappy and disgruntled customer

We bought a Defy Gemini Petit Chef oven on the 15th August 2012 from Game in Windhoek for our new home, then under construction.
After 3 weeks in use I found that every baked dish stayed just as milk white as it was when put into the oven. After 5 weeks I contacted Game and went to see them. They contacted Atlantic Spares, the agents for Defy in Namibia.
At 1st they told me there was nothing wrong, and as the one workman told me: "the new ovens now bake that white". I took these white scones to Game. Atlantic Spares looked again at the oven and replaced the Thermometer. I still got white bread with no brown crust! Only pudding and cakes with a high sugar and butter content got very light brown on top. They then again replaced the Thermometer and on my request the top element as well. But after nearly a year the oven is still a 'dud'!
An acquaintance of us with a catering business has the same oven and bakes perfect cakes etc.
I can't belief that Defy a well known and respected company would sell an oven not in perfect working condition and expect the client to pay R4376.80 and be satisfied with it! Game washes their hands off it and I'm the one at a loss!
