Went yesterday morning to buy some groceries at Checkers Alberton City. The person at the till rang up the items in record time (I was very impressed by this) and the packer packed the goods in bags and then in the trolley.
Arriving home, my daughters unpacked the items. Only later did we discover quite a number of items (mostly high value) were not there.
I called Angie the Admin Manager at Checkers this morning and she has no account of the items in their "Left Behind" book.
The items that have 'disappeared' is well over R200!
Unfortunately, one can not watch what is rung up and the packer simultaneously - especially when you have little ones with you.
So very disappointing.
Firstly, I will no longer shop at Checkers Alberton City and secondly, I would like to warn all others to check while the packers are packing the goods in bags and in the trolley.
